WELCOME TO HUMANITARIAN BAZAAR!
We produce media, concerts, and other projects focused on how people survive war, disaster, and the pursuit of peace. We run the Mogadishu Music Festival, the Somali Sunrise Concert Tour for Peace, and the new Front Line Rock Tour. We also co-produced Sound Central, Afghanistan’s first modern music festival. Live from Mogadishu, our new feature documentary, is due out later this year. Visitors can find creative humanitarian media, front line music, hire us to produce media and events, join a workshop, and find guidebooks and gear. Founded in Brooklyn in 2009, we have already produced projects in Afghanistan, Kenya, Somalia, South Sudan, and the US. Our work has been covered by CNN, The New Yorker, The Atlantic, Rolling Stone, WNYC Soundcheck, Aljazeera, LA Times, The Guardian, BBC, NBC, CBS, BBC and Reuters.
